If we can think deeply That someday time will end here, I thought that will always love you And I'll be holding out my hand to you
I'm covered in bluueeeee.... help. Pastels will one day rule the world =0
Uhm, so these are my two original characters Troy and Penny, and despite how many times I've said that they're couple, I've never drawn them together. So... ta dah! They're so in love
this took freakin ages... I'm not used to drawing people in complicated poses and I know I need to practise to actually make my drawings look different. And... I gave up on trying to make them hold hands... seriously it was BAD! So... they're about too okay! Oh and, there drink isn't flying everywhere, that's the steam (though Penny's probably will in a second ) which I also used pastels for.
I enjoyed designing Penny's outfit, I like it because it's modern and not too weird but INTERESTING to draw, whoopee! And it seems to be that Penny loves scarves. Troy's jumper was a lot of fun to do... only I used about every green I own on it xD Non of the colours were coming out good so I had to seriously layer them. His jacket took ages to colour because I wanted to shade it properly. And they're both in jeans... all my characters wear jeans XD I love jeans.
BED HEAD TROY RETURNS! But as fun as it is to draw bed hair... it actually really hard to draw it blowing in the wind, I'm still not totally satisfied with this... ash well. I like Penny's hair though; her hair was easy to draw. It was actually hard not to have the hair covering their eyes... but I wanted to be able to see them so I tried really hard to make it blow a certain way... I've just realised, Troy is actually pretty small XD
And... Yeah I know the hands failed. But I'm still trying. But I will say that Troys HASN'T got titchy hands... his jumper is pulled over the majority of his hands. But yeah, I know they didn't come out okay, please don't mention them xD This is why I hate drawing hands, you could draw a perfect picture only for it to be DESTROYED HORRIBLY by hands *sniff*
Troy was originally seen with a side view face... however (you can check my gallery) I NEVER draw those and it was looking horrible. Penny was looking fantastic and it was being destroyed by Troy's face. So I made it 3/4 view... AGAIN. It actually has the same effect as the side view so I don't regret.
Scenario... they're on a date ^///^ They are a pretty cute couple; I actually prefer Ben and Emily as a couple though... their history goes back much further as they knew each other when they were young. But these two are so cute; they totally cherish each other and would do anything for each other. He sort of looked out for her and understood her when no one else did and she loves him dearly for it. And he... well is rather fascinated by her, he's never met anyone like her and he fell in love with her. Dawww.
Art Comments: Whew... pastels really dissolve time when doing backgrounds, however the rest of the picture looks A MESS! Seriously xD I spent a long time on this, mostly because of the poses and I'm trying to improve my colouring. There wasn't originally a blue background... it was just them and the yellow aura, however I felt that it was missing something so I took a risk and made the background blue... dunno whether it worked. I tried different colouring methods on this one, like swirls and different directions, I can see some subtle differences... it may have improved the picture than if I'd coloured it normally.
Ooooh, the pastels make a good effect! =O I shall have to remember this and use it in future! >8D
Dawwwww~ So cute. And hey look, you drew a long wind swept scarf. It starts there, and then you draw swirly hair! >8D Join the swirly side of the art force~ We have cookies~

Long wind swept scarves rule dude! Maybe scarves will convert me to being a long haired drawer... who know Hee hee hee, yes they are cute.

Your colouring is really improving, I like Troy's jumper and Penny's yellow top (and scarves are really her thing ^_-) Their expressions are so sweet they really do look like a loving coupld, daw. The contrast between the yellow outline and the deep blue is great, draws the eyes right in ^^
UWAH! Thank you so much for the fave and comment Yep, I think everytime I draw Penny I need to draw a scarf Ooh, I'm glad you liked their tops 8D They took me long enough (especially Troy's XD) Hahahaha, if I say so myself their expressions really are cute ^^ Hee hee, the colour wheel lies, I think yellow and blue go great together but the colour wheel says no DX Hahaha, it seems to be proven wrong though
sorry it has taken me a long time to comment and whatnot but I have been busy lately anyway, anyway this is a really good pic very well drawn and coloured in, go pastel usage!
