This Is What I Do

Spent most of this afternoon doing this photo. I bought a remote-wire-thingy for my camera on Thursday and wanted to experiment with it. I bought some chalks on the same day and finall got around to doing this today. It was well liked on tumblr so I thought I'd upload it ;D

Snow

This one was the easiest to do in terms on the fence art... hard to pose for. Why? BECAUSE IT WAS STUPIDLY HOT TODAY. When I was drawing the snow onto the fence, I was wearing the top in the image below it and I was dying in the heat then. It was certainly the easiest to pose for though. Fun fact, I wasn't wearing a top under that coat

Sunshine

This one was nice and refreshing to pose for, as I could drink for this one. I drew the sun in an awkward position though so it wasn't that easy to do. I felt a little awkward selecting clothes for this one though. I immediatly spot my arms and how thick they are (Martial Arts ). I do love that dress though. Fun fact, those are my dad's sunglasses.

Wind

Yes, that is wind for those who didn't guess. This one isn't that good because it was hard to bring it across. Also, for some reason, the pink and green chalks didn't want to come out on my camera strongly. However, there is something rather beautiful about my face on that one. And it was what inspired me to do these anyway. I sprayed my hair into that shape. This was CERTAINLY the hardest one to pose for. I'm not entirely satisfied with this one, there are others where the composition of my hand is better, but my face.... I just couldn't resit. Fun Fact, I fell over several times doing this one.

Rain

No that isn't my bra. I knew the effect I wanted, but being a very insecure 17 year old, I wore a vest top underneath my blouse. I put some makeup on untidily and... threw a bucket of water over me. I got very cold I still have the smudged makeup on now Fun Fact, that's my old school blouse.

I know I mentioned awkward positioning of the drawing or incorrect ones and the question is, "Why not take them off and redo them?" Because it too AGES to wait for the fence to dry -I took them off with water- and redraw them. This shoot took 2 hours to do hhahahaha.
I'm not entirely sure I was ALLOWED to do that on this fence, it's in our garden, but it's technically my neighbour's fence. I felt very awkward drawing on it.
