Throwing it away the instant I become slightly pissed with it (hence why Tye is so hard to draw...), if I have been working on it for ages then I'm less inclined. Like with Tye, I was DETERMINED to draw him so I drew his cltohes and hair first, so I simply rubbed out a failed face.

No way.

Not as often now I've lost my skin coloured pencil... seriously, I tihnk my creative flair was stored in that... I can't even sketch.

No. Too lazy to draw and scan plus I can't colour it. Plus... don't ask me to choose a favourite, don't you DARE!

Ususally, a stoy of mine is told from a girl's point of view so female... however I do have an androgynous charatcer who has been used in 7 potential storylines at different ages... LOL XD

What did you draw yesterday?
The singer from Crystal Cstles, a wall, some graffiti (on the drawing), a castle.

What is the funnest part to draw?
Is "funnest" a word? Anyway, hair (especially short hair)

What part of other people's drawings do you notice first?
Characters.

Regarding backgrounds, what is your method of making it easier to draw?
T-t-t-t-to draw?! *runs*But to colour, pastels make it go A LOT quicker... but do the background first and spray it with hairspray.

What colour coordinations do you like?
Pink and blue (lol, Joshua/Neku!), green and pink (Shiki and Joshua... okay), black and white, yellow and orange, red and gold (lol, Shooter and Joshua), green and red (Shiki and Shooter...), blue and purple.

Of mine? An attempt at Andy that ended up as a little boy. Of someone elses? Richard Cole from Power of Five.

Does your style change easily?
Only once. It's improved though.

Face and character quirks relfected within the face and clothing. I hate drawing plain pictures.

How do you feel about drawing H pictures?
I like drawing clothes too much to draw people naked, plus clothes cover bad anatomy.

So... most people have done these, but everyone’s account is different and I’ve never done one of these before (my computer always crashed around the time of Expo).

Friday:

Had a bit of a lie in since I was missing college that day (didn’t mind missing key skills, English… possible, but I was sad about missing photography); and when I got up I was ATTEMPTING to pack… but because I’m lazy it was SERIOUSLY last minute. I remembered everything except my pyjamas. Lol fail. So, I caught the bus to Wolverhampton (45 mins) where I got on a Coach to London (and in the meantime, found out that it also stopped in my local town… I wasn’t amused). The journey was alright, but the seats were made of leather and I kept on sliding off them. I read Bridget Jones Diary for the majority of the way down until the sunset got really pretty and when we got into London.
Eventually got to Victoria Coach Station where I met Char *RavenBlakh whom I’d be staying with for the weekend. I was really happy to see her because she’s awesome and stuff. We chatted on the way back and at hers… In fact we chatted for ages, we really can talk about anything. I do remember us talking about annoying Holly with Life on Mars Slash Eventually, we were tired and went to bed (I borrowed some of Char’s old clothes). Oh yes, we also discovered that we both had Roy Mustang Plushies, a photo was a must.

Saturday:

Set my alarm for 07:30 so we had enough time to get ready for Expo. I got changed into the majority of my Yousei-san outfit, but I had to wait to get the main part. Char commented that I looked like a tourist… yay. Uhm… we travelled to Excel and spotted many cosplayers on the way there. Once we arrived we plonked ourselves into N1 and Char made arrangements with people to meet there at lunch… that sort of became our little area for the expo; if ever we needed to meet or to chill, we’d go there. We went down to the Dockland area and waited around for people so Char could do a photo shoot, I believe they got delayed though. However, we saw ~MikeJenks and *xLulux who were really friendly and has AWESOME costumes on, so we did a quick photo shoot with them.
Also found ~eternal-aeris and ~Mungojerrie… or more they found us but IT’S THE SAME THING! I ran and hugged them because it’d been so long since I’d seen them and I love them. They also had the rest of my costume, which was very important. Now I was a true Fairy of Britannia! We eventually went inside because it was coming up to lunch anyway, I saw A LOT of awesome cosplayers during that time and got their photos… even if Expo lighting DESTROYED many of them *cries* We also met up with *Teh-stupid-bug and *Chandraken and *jimmyvalentino and *hoshi-kagami and ~SCCGunny and ~En-sama which was brilliant because I hadn’t seen them in ages and I was all happy.
Also met the wonderful and super friendly ~TheStarkster thank you for being so awesome! There were some rather entertaining moments with her friends too… We wandered around for a bit, but didn’t go inside the actually expo, it didn’t look very promising. I also saw some INCREDIBLE Hetalia cosplayers, however I wouldn’t discover just how lovely they were until the next day. We wandered around outside for a bit and I did a little photo shoot with Zoe and Holly, which was nice but COLD so we went back in… and got too hot, so went back out. We ran into Brett again and sat with him… getting cold. Although my poncho was fairly warm so it was all good with me. I also saw a sign that said “Britannia Park” and in my cosplay I was extremely amused.
We saw *NavigatorxNami and *Emi-zone both of whom were super friendly and a pleasure to be around. You both looked incredible too, I loved taking photos of you.
Char came back and the precise second she sat down, the weather picked up. After her shoots were finished. The situation (for me anyway) was both annoying and rather amusing. Sod’s Law anyone? I think Char was feeling the rage though We went back in… and back out (Expo was a bit of a blur at this point) and did a photo shoot with myself, *hoshi-kagami, ~eternal-aeris, ~Mungojerrie with *RavenBlakh as our photographer. Zoe and Holly had to go, I was sad, even though we’d be seeing them the next day. We went back inside and into our cosy little N1. Got some general shots of my wonderful friends who fill me up with warmth when I’m around…. WHY CAN’T WE ALL LIVE IN ONE AREA!!!!
Char reckons we should all move to London.
I reckon they should all move to the Midlands.
Holly and Zoe and Lou reckon we should move too Liverpool.
You can’t win can you?
I think everyone left and it was pretty much just me and Char… so we left eventually. It was fun chatting on the bus, although it got VERY crowded. And you could tell I was tired since I tried to put my money in where you get your tickets… I felt a little silly.
Went back to Char’s, had a very nice meal and chatted some more. I think we were both rather tired and went to bed.
At some point during the evening, we got confused about the clocks being turned back xD My alarm went of REALLY EARLY since I’d turned it the wrong way… whoops.

Sunday:

This day is joint first with Midlands Feb 09 for being best Expo. This was the day that I met wonderful people, and that I truly fell in love with my cosplay, and I love *Crazedteensieofdoom for doing it for me, I LOVE YOU DUDE!

So today I thought I’d actually buy a ticket to go in, since I did fancy looking at some of the stuff and to see whether it had improved at all over the years. *RavenBlakh waited with me in the line for a while to keep me company, which I love her for, thank you so much. Also ~En-sama owes me money, the silly boy. Anyway, I went in and ran into ~TheStarkster which I was really happy about because I liked seeing her again. I wandered around and sore many Hetalia cosplayers, all of whom recognised and hugged (or high-fived) me which was really awesome! I also saw some Hetalia cosplayers that I’d seen the day before, all of them were really sweet and got my LiveJouranl (HEY YOU GUYS, ADD ME! I WANNA TALK TO YOOOOUUUUU!!!!). We went out for lunch, where I saw ~Mungojerrie and ~eternal-aeris again, alongside their brother Chazz, who looked really cute ^^ Some more Team Blues wandered over and I got their photo. I also the the AMAZING Harry Potter group, I was nearly in tears when I saw them, ALL OF THEM looked incredible. And I got their group which was really nice; although some of them ran around me for a bit, which was amusing.
Some team red came over and Holly was happy. I went back in with Isa to buy myself, her and Char a copy of Cosplay Fever. I adored that book, there’s room for improvement but I was so happy to get my hands on it. I also ran into some LOVELY Spain and Romano cosplayers, little did I know that I’d meet them later in the day. I also met ~camisicado who was really friendly a pleasure to talk to ^^ I was so happy to be able to finally meet you
I lost Isa (sorry, I lingered too long) and eventually went out of the hall again. I did a photo shoot with Holly and Zoe and Chazz which was a lot of fun. I wnet outside to call home and wandered around for a bit… in the meantime at one point they went home. I’M SORRY THAT I MISSED YOU GUYS! I LOVE YOU REALLY!!!!!
During that wandering outside one of the greatest experiences that I’ve ever had in the world of cosplay happened. I happened to see a bunch of Hetalia cosplayers and me being me, I had to get a photo of them. I took their photo and said thank you, when someone wandered up to me and said “Are you Yousei-san?” I said that I was and with half a second, they’d screamed and ran to hug me.
Two of these cosplayers were ~PandaRosi and ~rosiael (I’d list the others, but I dunno if they have DA’s ), both of whom I admire very much. They were both SO WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY! I loved sitting with all of them and hanging around them, everyone was so lovely and I want to marry them all. But we should not become one with Russia. Anyway, I loved hanging around them for a while and I couldn’t help but feel… warm and really happy whilst talking to them. It was really great ^^ Eventually, I went back inside to chill with Char, and the Spain an Romano I met earlier came over to sit with us. They were so lovely and funny! We were instantly chatting and making various Hetalia references, which was awesome! Not to mention they were very nice to be around, ~apeanutbutteredthing and ~schmeh I LOVE YOU BOTH! You two are on my marry list as well. We wandered over to the Hetalia group where all the America cosplayers acted like I didn’t exist I had to cry on Romano’s shoulders, Tsun-tsuns understand fairies But all Hetalia-ness aside, these guys were also really lovely and awesome to be around.
Ran into various people I’d met during the day in the toilets… they really are wonderful places. Apart from the obvious use for them, you can meet people, come up with ideas, do hair and make up and hide from scary people.
We went down to do a sort of Light Painting shoot that =Blasteh organised which was a lot of fun! It was a really nice end to the expo, alongside meeting some lovely people that Char knew.
We had to leave though, which was a shame but neither me or Char fancied travelling back really late so we went back to her house. And chatted some more xD

Monday:

Had a lie in… but woke up anyway. So I read some more of Cosplay Fever and went through the stuff I bought. Watched Char edit some photos… but then I had to go >= It was sad, but I couldn’t live with Char… not yet anyway It was good to hear that I could travel back with some friends, the journey wouldn’t seem so long. When I got home, I edited some photos and died. The end.

On Sunday I said this to Char “I wont say I didn’t want to go… I just didn’t want it to end”
THEY’RE THE SAME BUT DIFFERENT DAMN IT!

Seriously Basically, my Graphics BTEC course is AWESOME! And in one of our Units we have to create our own business, and we're doing an Energy Drink called: CHARGE! And my group are really fun to be with. Today we had a photoshoot for our poster, and whilst non of the pictures were 100% perfect, a lot of laughs and general spazz was had, so I thought I'd share them with you... because sometimes, mid leap jumps are awesome.

These haven't been edited, other than Auto Fix in Photobucket and Resizing. They're in white tops becuase... well, our main coulour is purple and NO ONE (apart from myself... and I was the photographer) wore purple... Yeah. Luckily, Liz (our teacher) was an ANGEL and lent us some white tops for some of her other students... most of them didn't actually fit xD That was hillarious!

His doughnuts haven't dried yet and tomorrow is the only day I can attatch them to the jacket (only day mom is in). We can make some from sponges but... thye don't look very good. I'd much rather he wasn't done in time and debuted at a later date, rather than be rushed and be dissapointed with it.

I am very upset, I really wanted to do him for the expo and SO MUCH effort has gone into it. But... that's life xD I still have to work how to make and place on the straps... and then do them; the doughnuts; contact leneses... so much mroe stuff do. It'll be ruined if I do it now. Plus, the top is pretty poor. It just looks like a top made out of bed sheets (which it is) rather than a top. However, if I tell mom that I want to redo it then she'll go mad. She wasn't happy when I told her that I didn't want to do Train for the expo. Oh how I wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish they could have dried quicker. This really sucks ;_;

However, I'll be able to be the Britannia Fairy because I'm going to be getting it off Holly. Thank you so much Cat for making it for me. You're a star and I love you. I maaaaaayyyy wear Mokuba again, I may. But I dunno whether I want to be him again. I've worn him to 3 expos now... I'm a little tierd of it.

LOL, how many people did I scare with that title? I'm not emo I swear! I'm just in a weird mood (in a good way of course). My last two journal entries have been a little... unlike me, I've been in bad moods as I wrote them so... yeah This journal is going to be much more like the awesome me!

General Update

We're now using Google Chrome, I hate it D= NOTHING IS RIGHT?! Where are my favourites?! Where are all those things I saved onto our old internet? WHEEEERRREEEEE?! I'm pestering my dad to put Internet Explorer back as our default browser. Seriously, people say Google Chrome is much faster... I actually don't see any difference; to be honest, a lot of the websites I go on take longer to load. At least it's not as bad as Safari, confusion on a stick there. And we HAVE to use it on the Macs at college... blimey, if I do become a Graphic Designer we are getting TWO computers, a Mac for my art and shiz; and a general computer for everything else. Seriously, Microsoft Word has never been so confusing! Oh there is one good thing about Google Chrome, it does highlight your spelling errors so my typos will be less common now... only MANY of the words I type don't actually exist so it has many red sqiggly lines under it anyway.

My hair has been cut. I CAN FINALLY SEE! Only she took WAY to much off my fringe, it look like it's been hacked off. And it isn't exactly even either, I'm hoping it grows a little before anyone sees my again. At least it's out of my eyes though, it'd been AGES since I'd cut my hair last time... always in my eyes. The overall length is shorter too, and it's nice... but once again, I think she took a little too much off >=

I'm considering going to KitaCon now, a lot of people have told me to go; and paying for reservation won't be a problem it's just the bloody hotel prices. It costs so much >= And I only know a couple of people who are actually going and they'll probably already have plans (although they're on the lookout for any floor space so I can share the bill, thanks guys!). I'll talk about cosplay stuff below But I've heard KitaCon is AWESOME! So I really wanna go to it, it's at an okay time too... I'm just worried that I'm going to be dead at College.

MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE COMING TO LONDON EXPO! I seriously cannot wait for it! Not that I wasn't looking forward to it before because of the awesome Char and the whole fact that it's an expo. But now I KNOW it will be incredible... I just hope the weather's nice (it's October Beth, good luck with that). So everyone whom I love and adore, SEE YOU THERE! And, I can't wait to get Cosplay Fever! It looks incredible.

I keep on looking forward to Easter when my dear ~KokiriMango will come to visit me! We'll be taking her to a pub obviously, and the castle in my back garden (almost literally). Oh and Rayne, you're going to HAVE to cope with working on Austria for a bit I NEED THE HOLIDAY WOMAN! Although... I have an idea, I'm gonna send you a message about it soon (once I've done this). Hey, other fellow British harem; you should all meet Rayne! She is awesome (seriously though... it's an idea... BUT NOT MY HOUSE! NO ROOM DAMN IT!) like 8D She's as awesome as me, only more so! Convinced yet?

Cosplay

No Toboe for London I'm afraid. He was too stressful and it was going to cost WAY too much money. However, he will not be scrapped all together. No no no. I love him to much. I may wear him to KitaCon yet, I dunno. But since we've decided to put him on a hold, A LOT of stress has lifted off myself and mom. It's just Train we have to focus on now; and we've nearly completed him

For Midlands Expo in February I'm going as Tonks (as most of you now know) AND we're starting her straight after London Expo, which is all good. Also one of my friends from school actually does T-shirt transfers! So it'll be good to get back in contact with her (she uses Myspace which I never go on nowadays, since my account got hacked I've been too scared ) and catch up on old times (we've known each other since Primary School). I'm hoping I get recognised... I also son't know what I'm going to do if people ask for a group photo (which they have done in the past) of me and my friends... because they're all doing FF IX (because they're awesome!) and I won't be sure whether they'll just want them or everyone (like most have done)... I'll back out and if they usher me back in then I'll join and be the Tonks groupie again. I hope she gets recognised, seriously.

For KitaCon, I'm PROBABLY going to go as Austria. Either his full brown (smexy) coat version or a casual version. It depends on how much we progress in the time. The thing is, between Midlands and Kita there's no holidays... (actually... is there? I can't remember when Midlands falls so there may be the Half Term) so it means there's a lack of time to work on it. However, for his casual I could wear: My school boots, school trousers, long white shirt, make a waist coat, and buy a cravat (HE MUST HAVE A CRAVAT!), sort out wig and glasses, grow a mole (lol, grow means draw on). I'll probably wear the Green Fairy-thing poncho hoodie sometime as well and glomp ~XMoonLilyX Possibly for the party? AND... I'll either wear Tonks or (if he's done by then) Toboe. Or both?

I have a sort of plan for May London Expo too... and it's all Hetalia related! I'm CERTAINLY going to wear Austria full brown (hot) coat version; and I'm pretty sure I'm going to do Estonia to be with :devxmoonlily:'s Baltic Group (AKA Trembling Trio). Although his out is freakin hard D=
